In T L Swan’s steamy third installment of the Miles High Club, Kate’s hot new pen pal is a welcome distraction from her horrible boss. But nobody is as distracting as Elliot Miles…and he knows it.

My favorite hobby is infuriating Elliot Miles. Just the sight of my boss’s handsome face triggers my sarcasm. God knows how he earns his Casanova reputation—if a million women want him with his personality, what the heck am I doing wrong?

Disgusted with my love life, I join a dating app under a fake name. I start chatting to a man named Edgar. He’s not my type and lives on the other side of the world, but we hit off a friendship, laugh and confide in each other.

But lately things are getting weird at work. Elliot’s being…attentive. His eyes linger a little longer than they should, and there’s a heat behind them that I haven’t felt before. And then, in the shock of all shocks, he tells me that my vulnerability is appealing. But when was I vulnerable?

Horror dawns…Has my boss been reading my emails to Edgar?

Damn it, why did I use my work email?

Oh no, does he know what I really think of him? I’d rather die than ever admit it.

Or, even worse: is it possible that the man I loathe in real life is the man I’m falling for online?

****My Review ****

A perfect choice for all those who would like to read a book with a captivating storyline, amazing characters, and a great love story, intertwined with incredible sexual chemistry and uncensored banter to the very end. I would most definitely recommend “The Casanova” by T.L Swan, the third installation in the Miles High Club. A truly emotional journey that will lead you from LOL moments in one moment to a lump in your throat the next, this book checks all the boxes for me.

The story of Kate and Elliot – two enemies, two strong characters, who are strong on the outside and so fragile and gentle at the same side … They looked at each other, once, twice …. Maybe they have been watching each other for an eternity, but they did not actually see one another… But one unplanned moment is enough to change the perspective, one moment that offers new horizons, unexplored emotions and belonging, the birth of uncontrolled passion, and a relationship that has an expiry date before it begins …. As the end approaches, the fear of losing something that should never have existed increases, the need to hold and cherish is too great, yet life brings delivers the ultimate curveball… But the laws of love are difficult to understand and follow, and destiny sometimes creates intertwined paths that no matter how hard we try we can not change ….. What does the future hold? What will happen when the hidden truths are revealed by secrets that neither of us even dreams of?

This author knows how to write stories that will delight me. Instead of looking for metaphors to describe things, she uses simple and precise words to describe situations, places, and characters. Instead of using an extremely subjective and modern way of experiencing events from the point of view of one character, she tries and succeeds in penetrating the subconscious of several characters, both main and less important. The main character Kate warmed my heart. An ambitious young lady who has many dreams in life, hidden behind the pain that tears her heart apart. She lives, steps slowly, for the world small actions, but mean everything to her. At times you think that you are Kate because of the real creation, which does not leave much to the imagination, and yet abounds with it. Such storytelling brings us back to reality in which the same thing can happen to you at any moment. The author leads you to the story in a great way and makes you feel every emotion, every fear, and joy. Eliot on the other hand is a character you simply have to love. A cruel and strong businessman, a man who lives his life the way he wants, and deeply hides vulnerability and romantic nature, which simply surprises us. Although at the beginning he deceives us with its undisguised indomitability, as we turn the pages, more and more we discover the depth of this amazing character who is simply looking for his piece of happiness. And as much as we do not want to, we understand and forgive his infamous choice. And his actions after the choice are so swoon-worthy. He is a perfect book boyfriend, right? Well, I have to say after Tristan, everyone else is just a faint copy of a perfect man for me. Eliot is everything, but he is not Tristan.

The pace that is imposed in the novel itself is perfect. This is what makes you not leave the book until you get to the last page. There are no unnecessary details – everything is in its place and where it should be. Although the book is written from the perspectives of the two main characters, the author still manages to impose a note of secrecy, which hides many important details throughout the story. The outcome of this book will open new horizons for you about what true chemistry is, what love is and what it is like to have something, then to lose it. The end will surprise you and after the last sentence, you will want to continue. You will witness how T.L Swan seamlessly connects things, events, and personalities that seem incompatible after all these events.

In short, the novel is great to read – and the end will be completely unexpected and so sweet!
