I don’t apologize or regret the destruction I’m about to cause. I’m at peace with what I must do… nothing can or will stand in my way. Not even the raven-haired beauty with golden eyes who haunts my dreams.
No one is innocent in the story of my life. Fairy tales don’t exist!
I. Make. No. Excuses.
Everyone needs to atone, and I’m the man who is going to see to it.

            **** My Review ****

Hot, but seriously damaged hero, amazingly brave heroine, sizzling chemistry…all perfectly packed in the new steamy romance ‘Atone’ by Cassandra Robbins. What more can a reader ask?

Returning to the old place, two same people, known to each other, yet unfamiliar now. Same in some ways, but changed under the harshness of their lives. He with only one, single goal. The desire for revenge is what moves him, but where will it take him in the end?

Broken beyond repair, changed by the loss and pain, can he find it in himself to offer her some light in all that darkness?

And she, Charlie, brave and determined, and unbearably attracted to him, as in the old days. But is that enough to carry all that burden with him?

Cassandra one more time proves to be a real master in using her unique way to explore topics that aren’t easy to read, that will shock and delight the reader at the same time. Remorse, pain, loss so skillfully intertwined with lust, desire and love. Using the high pace and dangerous games that only the MC Disciples can play, she manages to create a story that so gritty, raw and a real page-turner.

The author leads the readers on a profound and detailed trip, and creates so fully developed characters, giving the readers full insight and opportunity to know and understand the reasons of every action.

The explosive chemistry and devoted love simply melt the words from the pages. So many details, so many layers of emotions and amazing characters, both main and secondary, make this book a perfect choice for every reader.
